We paved the way for a new joint venture between Comcast and Independence Health Blue Cross.
With the suite of digital products we created, Comcast was able to demonstrate to insurance companies and healthcare partners how technology improvements and efficiencies could reduce costs and increase sales. Comcast and Independence Health Blue Cross created a joint venture called Quil Health based on the key findings and implementation of this work.
In the spirit of innovation, Comcast partnered with health insurance companies to provide technology solutions for care managers. Our field research showed that care managers struggled to maintain enough check-ins to ensure patient improvement. They needed accessible technology to help them connect.
To solve for this lack of connectivity, we created a set of digital products across mobile, web, and OTT for care managers, using voice, video and chat functionality. By automating data collection, we also reduced administrative redundancy.
